For a start I have just found a slow worm.

I once found a half-sovereign. A bit scratched, so no good for a collector but I sold it for a tidy sum :)

I saw two snakes while out running in the lake district.

Ive seen several deer...once I saw fawn that had just been hit by a car....I stopped as i thought I was going to have to put it out of its misery....but i got up an ran away - so I went to the leisure centre i was outside and called the rspca.

Ive never found anything that exciting really...im concentrating too much on not falling over

I found a drunk guy asleep in the snow. I woke him up and asked him where he lived - he was miles away from home. So I ran to the taxi rank and sent him a cab ....

Once came round a corner and ran into a sofa someone had plonked in the middle of the pavement for the Council to collect...

come across slow worms quite a few times ,an adder once lying across a coastal path, deer lots of times.

numerous snakes and small lizards in Cyprus when running in the mountains (you need to be vaguely aware of which is which before you go off for a run through patches of undergrowth as a couple of them are venomous)

a rugby tackle bag [on a beach]
a shark [dead] - washed up against my foot whilst running in the sea [lots of brown stuff shortly after that as well!]

a snowboard [on top of the dunes]

Mr Phil- your beach sounds like a good place.
I found a perfectly good power kite on Southend Beach once. It must have been new- I have the bag as well.
I found a black labrador dog once which chased me all the way home - about 4 miles from where I 'found' it. I was knackered by the time I got in the house.
The slow worm is going to preschool in the morning with a my son.

Fell Running

A young couple in a car with a hosepipe leading from the exhaust. The engine had stalled and they were still alive. I was about half a mile from home when I found them - I think I'd have given Kelly Holmes a run for her money over that last half mile.

A bunch of naked witches dancing around in the woods (not a pretty sight).

Oh yes - and a disused mine shaft....

I found, or rather my stinking deerhound found two shaggers at it in the woods behind our house. I ran through the trees to find the dog sniffin the blokes bare ass. I kept running whilst he trie to get her off....... poor buggers. very funny though.
