RW Forum Six

Are there plans to run the Forum Six competition again?

not sure minni...but i won't need it as i'm sure this year i will be shortlisted for the RW one........i'm sure it is like the old london marathon ballot .after 5 rejections you get an automatic place

I'm not convinced there are six people left on the forum

hundreds post every day LB........and the competition usually brings some of the shy lurkers in as well as some new people..........

so i'm sure we will have no problem getting 6 people if needed..............

i am off to learn some french

there isn't a mile 17 stop in Paris..............and i don't drink french wine...so i should be safe...............and they don't know about london.............I actually ran snowdon faster on no training than i ran london

I've always thought that the Forum 6 has always been a very positive thing for the forum. Meldy, Hash and moi have organised it thus far.

I'm happy to be involved again, I just don't want to be the person driving it as due to taking on a full time job I spend far less time on here than I did.

But like I say, still happy to do my bit.

Can anyone help get it started? E.g. Would Meldy/Hash or KK be willing to help us or let us know what is needed so that we can then start the ball rolling?

The year I was selected I found out just before Christmas and this was ideal timing.  I think last time around it was just after New Year?  If we start the ball rolling now it could be all set up for Christmas then everyone is ready to go in the New Year?

The selection process was done behind the scenes in the witches couldron.

Also we need to toute 6 willing volunteers as mentors.

im sure we can easily drum up enough volunteers - i think the forum 6 is just fantastic and i honestly believe it makes a big part of creating the community feel of RW!

there are hoards of lurkers who get just as much from the process as the selectee's
