Its true! I had a dream
If Greece could win in 2004 - why the hell not?
They hadn't beaten world cup finalists at home and away either
I admire your ambition, but even though I hope Scotland do get through, why do I get the feeling they will screw it up against Georgia, despite beating France. I hope I'm wrong!
If Scotland get through, it's one less team out of the 16 qualifiers for England to worry about!
We can have a wee bet if you like for the match tonight........
As for your own team I wouldn't get to cockie.......
I only say it, not through being cocky, but because I realise Scotland fans are used to being let down. It's the same as being an England fan, except we generally get let down in quarter finals of the tournaments themselves, despite everyone building us up into world beaters (which we are not).
I'll give you 8/13 on Scotland as the bookies are rarely wrong.
If we do, are we allowed to crow about it at every opportunity for the next 40+ years?
Coops - That will do me fine, put me down for £50.00 at 8/13
Yog - Good point......
I'ts not about the money, its taking it off you that makes it so good.......£50.00 with you is worth £100 off the bookies...........
No problem, I'll take the bet. If Scotland win, I'll send you a cheque for £30.77. If Scotland DON'T win (Georgia win or draw), you send me a cheque for £50.00. Yes?
I want Scotland to beat Georgia. It would be ace if they won the entire tournament.
I'd rather England win it but I'd still be made if the Jocks did it.
Coops you branching into being a bookie?
I'm so nervous I'm not sure I'll survive watching it tonight. They should be able to do it, but I'm scared to get my hopes up. I just wish it was all over one way or another.
I think England may struggle - too many injuries, and that pitch looks dodgy, despite what MacLaren is saying.
Coops - No bluff, got other stuff here that sitting on this PC......
I confirm the bet...........
Stick me down for
50p "lucky f*cker" 2.30 at chepstow, eachway.
Nessie - Bang on there, I think they may stuggle for a draw.........
