Having undertrained for FLM mostly because doing long training runs on your own is a bit miserable, I'm going to bite the bullet and join a running club - there are two in my area that train from a nearby track, Shaftsbury Barnet Harriers, and Barnet and District Athletic Club. Does anyone have any experience of these, and recommendations for which of the two a 49 1/2 year old aspiring (mostly perspiring, feeling like expiring) runner should join?
