Yeh I am like that.  Give me a beer, suggest some race somewhere and I am there!

Lanza may be hard, but the views are awesome. I don't mind - I will do whatever is presented either way so I am not getting into a slinging match about which one I would prefer.

The cheapest will do me actually

My bank is growling at me now

I thought it was a knitting club though?

Was I wrong?

CRIPES - I still have an hour and 10minutes and no chance of asking for early hometime as have been off ill all week.

Oh poor you - our official end time is 5.10 on Friday - I normally stay later but have had a huge week and to be honest have done sfa this afternoon (you probably worked that out)

Wake me up when you've decided what day the social is.

I wish we could leave earlier on a Friday - would just make such a HAPPY PO.

I have also done sfa.  And when I did try to work, found that our system has a glitch so can't anyway

Thank you Garr....

Yes BB I'm sure I have...  will look later...  I'll give people a couple of days to get back to us... but we might not even need that long as a couple of days look promising indeed...  for most people...

So far I have heard from:

  • Kittenkat
  • Mike Frog
  • Arctic Lady
  • Dad of Two
  • Cookie
  • Garr
  • Hope
  • Nam (that's meeee...  I heard from myself...)
  • Meldy
  • Barley
  • Plum
  • Jungle Dave
  • Plodding On
  • Stokeballoon
  • Peahead
  • Little Engine
  • Broken Bones
  • Gyraffe
  • Iron Min
  • Mouse

People have either given their availability or said they'll just see whatever date is set and see if they're free, but most have given me dates....

Now from the least popular to the most popular the dates are:

  1. 7/8 June (Bala weekend) - 10 people can't make it
  2. 21/22 June (Nice weekend) - 10 people can't make it
  3. 31/1 May/June - 9 people can't make it
  4. 23/24 August - 9 people can't make it
  5. 14/15 June - 8 people can't make it
  6. 28/29 June - 8 people can't make it
  7. 9/10 August (London Tri weekend) - 7 people can't make it
  8. 26/27 July - 6 people can't make it
  9. 19/20 July - 4 people can't make it
  10. 2/3 August - 4 people can't make it
  11. 30/31 August - 4 people can't make it
  12. 5/6 July (Barley's birthday, possible seperate doo) - 3 people can't make it
  13. 16/17 August - 3 people can't make it

Can I therefore propose that because Barley may be planning a seperate doo on his birthday that we pick the 16th/17th August weekend.

Also a good chance of good weather.
