Can anyone help? I started running a year ago, starting off with a 1 mile slow jog ( puffing and panting at the end of it though!) I must admit I am completely hooked and here I am 5 races later, running 3 times a week, rain, hail or snow and have even pledged myself for a half marathon in October. There is one big problem I hear running is the fastest burning calorie exercise. Why then have I not lost any weight!!! I am a moderately 2 stone overweight and know that I might have the odd cheat or two. I ran 15 miles last week and upping this week by week. Can anyone help? I run a moderate 11 minute mile which I am currently very proud of but would love to run faster and further.
