Well, Swindon is chilly and wet
Definitely warmer in Madrid...I've just been wandering about the bars in Calle del Prado in a sleeveless dress and sandals. I may regret this late hour and the gin and tonics involved - the bar I've just been in had 23 varieties of gin - but I have two scoops as a result of my networking

I went past our local wool shop yesterday post cycle ride- the A board outside had the following bon mots 'Knit fast, die warm'.
Came home to the vet bill I was expecting .... Jeeees!! That is a very good motto Ferret!

got to rush to Heathrow, my mate missed his flight back to Bristol and I'm going to pick him up and drop him at Rdg station
the things you do for friends (i'm going to miss Downton!)
I'd put him on a train quite frankly
ah, his flight was from paris to Bristol but he missed it so spent £400 on the only other option, heathrow.
a quick drive to and from Reading to collect him, he's on a train to Bristol, where he has to get a cab to the airport to collect his car, then drive back to his house!
an expensive miss then TMW.........
i am sorting out books with the boys.what to chuck and what to keep...i hate getting rid of books.but you just can't keep them all.especially the amount that we have aquired over the years.this is the 4th cull of books over the years.........I cheer myself up by reminding myself that they are being recycled so that they can be read instead of just kept on a shelf
