*gets back into bed*

I don't need telling twice and I'm not out of my jimjams yet.

In theory I probably could work from bed today.  I'm editting a document, processing admissions and marking.  I just find it a bit easier with a desk.

cheese in the diddle?

I love soup, home made, factory made, fairy made - don't care. Though my own personal favourite is leppie-made nutterbut splosh with creme fraiche and chilli.

*sigh* after clattering out 2,000 words on Tuesday in record time, I'm now really struggling with 200. So I'm going to have something to eat and then go for a run. That'll get it done, won't it.

I love soup. I could eat it every day. If only we had an Eat. near us, I would be in my elephant...

I am knackered but I still have 4 hrs left at work and an hours drive home ...

I did however sleep in just a little bit today, me and the cat had a conference this morning and decided that bed was the best place to be so I didnt go swimming like I was supposed to

06/12/2012 at 22:07

Sometimes that IS the best place to be. You do so much - sometimes the cat needs to exert a firm paw.

I'm all over the place training wise at the moment. Despite a really fun time at the Cabbage Patch, things haven't improved much training wise. So it's obviously in my head. Which poses a few mental problems for the ol' marathon training thing.

Watching Fleetwood Mac on Sky Arts at the mo. Wondering if The Chain on my iPlod will be a motivating track...

When do you need to start marathon training?

I have taken my running right back to 0, not only through neccessity but its quite cleansing as well, perhaps that is an option so you can build back up and take a different view of it ?

I have an oesteopath appoiuntment soon so hopefully will straighten me out ready for next weeks training to commence

07/12/2012 at 17:18

Afternoon all,

I can't get my head around the Chain, it feels a bit like a cut and shut- sort of folksy and then morphs into the much 'harder' F1 bit.

Is it dodgy componentry stopping you Jj or just the motivational bits?

I'm so behind the curve on this one, but have just got round to seeing this safety song for the australian metro:

I have taken my new car battery on a bus ride and now have a car that works.

I did 90 mins in the gym too...quite pleased with two gym visits and a run in a week where I've worked almost 60 hours! Planning a little run tomorrow and then a longer one on Sunday

Sorry, Jj...I appear to have stolen your mojo!

Looking forward to tomorrow...the first timeinfiveweeks that Smiffy and I have had a day off at the same time

Ooopsie just noticed I haven't been online on Runnersworld since mid October.

Hope you're all training good and strong!  I, howeer, am not and would appreciate a lump of dynamite and a plate of mojo please!  I am hopeful that the Christmas break will enable me to buy huge amounts of the mojo stuff so that I can start 2013 better than I finished it !  New running goals and a boot up the bottie is the order of the year!

In other news, I hate the cold and as one ages it feels 20 times worse (apparently!)

I am up thinking about going out on the bike but its looking cold and very icy out there.....i will wait until the day warms up a bit first i think

08/12/2012 at 17:09

Not that it helps you now but it was warmer out than last week.  However, this week I did find some nasty black ice and me and my bikey chums all got off and walked a short stretch but aside from that, it was lovely.
