Morning all,

it's a bit crunchy out there- fingers crossed everyone gets about safely today.

Meldy, it's a well known fact that decimated coconut is an invention of the devil, so probably best left on the supermarket shelf.

Afternoon.

FeFe - I didn't fall off on the black ice the other day, we walked the patch that we thought was going to be icy (as it's prone to standing water) and we all stayed on.

It is very brisk today.  I delayed my run to lunchtime and it's still very slippy in the shade.  In the sun though, it's truly beautiful.  Crisp and clear and a lovely blue sky.

Have you made it out Jj?  And is Jjunior safely at work?

So, how do you get a 6ft thingy and a 10ft wotsit in a Yaris?

Meldy - arghhhh!!!!!!

Chav - I was on the Queen's Road (?) right in the Centre. Was v confusing. Was going away from my intended venue and ended up in the Young Offenders Institute .

Then on the way home I took a wrong turn and was heading for the YOI again

I blame the Sat Nav

Tom's been on dishwashing duty so I dread to think what my kitchen looks or smells like.

I wimped out of todays run. I've been very tired today. Mostly i think on account of running a marathon in my sleep last night!

Morning all,

must see if I can try to find an excuse to write some cheques today.  Had to scrape ice off the inside of the windscreen last night so it must be proper cold.

12/12/2012 at 09:31

Morning.

Cos it's a numberified day, Jj, and you loikes the numbers.

I intended to run this morning.  I'd like to say I didn't because I was concerned about ice but mainly it was because I couldn't be feckin arsed.

(I'll run later)

12/12/2012 at 11:55

oh! lol - so it is.

I was very good and got togged up and went out just now (yes, two daylight expeditions in a row!), but had to cut it short after about ooooh - two minutes. Yesterday's cut was opened up and it HURTS! It's bruised too, so I shall rethink the socks - I prefer li'l ones but the tab exactly coincides with the cuts, so I'll patch it all up and wear longer socks.

Oh - Jjunior had a good day yesterday! Not only was she asked out by a chap she's really fancied for ages (she's only recently single again), but shortly after that she was made much of at work because - she'd actually saved a colleague's life last week! He'd collapsed and bashed his head, so she did the usual staunching of blood flow and questions about why, and history and stuff. She didn't like his colour, and despite his protestations (he refused 999 point blank) she made him an emergency GP appointment, explained the situation, and MADE him go to his 4:10 appointment. At 4:15, in the surgery, he had a major heart attack for which he received the right treatment immediately and is now recovering. The doc said "that first aider's actions saved your life."

'rah for Jjjunior- on both counts.
