no appointment necessary!
Nice training and flu beating folks.
Today was a rest day for me which felt very VERY strange for a Saturday. I haven't decided if I miss Ironman training or not yet.
There appears to be a 45 minute swim on my programme for Monday
That'll be a bloody big shock to the system I'll tell you that!
It all seems to be going well so far except I'm running a bit too fast for the time I'm looking for, which is all very well at this stage but means the wheels are likely to fall off later. I can run faster than my goal pace and slower than my goal pace, but I just can't seem to hit it and maintain it. It's just going to take practice I know.
Flashers on run routes don't help the mission. I didn't half inject some speed yesterday!
45 mins swim!! ahahahahahahah
its a bit hard to keep to a specific pace with all the hills around Hope...........I have slept and retsarted on the menthol sweets......one and hour through the night did help last night
sounds promising Meldy
Yeah hopefully ... keeping it simple and steady !I ordered a new Garmin soft strap thingy that arrived today, it was a lot cheaper than most on the market that I have seen so I was thinking it could be dodgy but it all looks okI am now shoe shopping in the sales
Oh shoe shopping...fabulous!
I've got to look for some new running shoes. More money pfft!
I bought new shooes in the sale this week.they are about 6 inches high.............training will start mid september in them ready for christmas...........i was thinking of tsarting with just standing in them for 10 secs and building up slowly
Yes, I think new running shoes for me too but I have a physio 'appt' in 10 days so am going to pick his brains before I buyI get 20% discount with NB which is lucky !
Just logging my training and noticed the average HR on the run was actually higher...176
i was impressed with my time though....much faster than i thought possible for this stage
All good signs Seren .. except the HR bit of course !!I have had a productive evening so far but still have a few hours to go and I have run out off steam
Morning. I have run envy. Garr is just back from his long run and after not running at all for about 3 weeks, he did 10 miles in 1:16.
Well I'll be going for my plod soon. 13 miles today. Just trying to decide which way to go.
well done girls .....Hope...at keast its dry for the long run............i dragged my body out of bed for club cross country today..it was very muddy and they asked me to run rather than marshall.............
it was hard work and heart rate was high again.............but i was 4th out of the 9 woman for our club and first 4 score so pleased that i ran even if it waqsn't my fastest run
Men are so very annoying aren't they!!Seren, you really do need to rest if your HR is highI did some hilly bike reps in the failing light but I was glad I got out there, 90 mins done
I was going to marshall meldy........but when i got there there wasn't many women........got kitted up and more arrived..........but as i scored it was worth it.......back to some easy zone 1 stuff in the bext couple of days.....even if i have to walk
You make sure you do or I'll send Schmunkee round
Is it normal for one's bod to ache 18 week's AFTER body pump please? Well, when I say 18 weeks I mean 24 hours! Haven't done the exercise for approx 6 months and wonder why every muscle I have is screaming at me! I can't believe how much agony I am in today! LOL
In other news....... Have I told you my bod aches?
Good morning and Happy Mondays all I shall be off to sleep my day awaySeren, try and be sensible !!
