no appointment necessary!
Worth it for comedy value i'd say !!
Penblwydd hapus Plum.........
sounds like some top training from everyone, I'm afraid I got sidetracked by the culmination of a book.
Many happy returns to the Plumster.
I had a very interesting afternoon at the gym being 'assessed' for marathon trainingStarted off with 30 mins witha physio (resident at the gym) who did a video analysis barefoot on a treddie and then some strength and flexibility tests, knee extension, timed plank, one legged bridge et.c 30 mins sports massage to pinpoint any issues or pick up any issues from the physio ( tightness on lateral side of calf - both sides)30 mins with personal trainer who I had seen before so she was able to guage what more I needed and to see what I had improved in already ...All for nothing .. very worthwhile for me,physio says I am def neutral and very even paced, I have rubbish hamstrings and hip flexors (no surprise there ) and I need to work my glutes
My interesting afternoon has denied me any quality sleep and I need to do a night shift tonight which will be interesting !
no run tonight due to having a rest, got a sore back so will watch an episode of something in the bath and have an early night!
sounds like it was worthwhile meldyt......even if it did spoil sleep............I have swum and so don't need to think about it again till next week.........I have also spun and did a short run........so just about on target
Good training guys ... Seren I may have to nick one of your swims as I haven't been to the pool all week due to a sore throat which has now turned into a head cold, I may run it out of my system tomorrow before nightsIt was definitely worthwhile Seren, somehow I feel quite reassured to have my gait analysed my a physio and he did say it was the best one he had seen in a long time .. I took that to mean near perfect !Chav, be careful with your back
yes i am being careful, managing the discomfort with NSAIDs and deep heat. i felt it getting on the train this morning. i will run tomorrow and see how it feels
ps good to hear you have a perfect gait... the wing's resident fish is evidently multiskilled
Indeed chav .. sadly it doesn't translate to speed !!
Blimey Mousey .. that is nearly tomorrow !!
I am going to the Bike Show at the Excel, my friend has free tickets !
good going Mouse........
I need to hit yoga..and blitz thge house.. and hopefully sleep.glad i did bthe swimming yesterday..don't want to do it today
might see you there Meldy
