I just ran. It was not the prescribed interval session due to frozen slush on pavements, then snow, ice and mud off road. I'm hoping these very slow miles are helping towards the marathon goal.

I think I might pop to the gym for an hour. To get warm if nothing else!

Lol Hope .. I do that! Obviously as I live in a fridge most of the time, I love to run or bike and then head to the gym for a stretch in the warm! Only trouble is then I usually have to go back outside to get home, mind you, they do have rather nice showers and a settee and a telly and open 24/7 ....... I could move in

I should have run today but I didnt, no other reason than being damn lazy but i'll let myself off that one

Morning all, I am on the train to London for college (nr Covent Garden). Anyone recommend a museum or gallery to pop my head into for an hour?

Had a rubbish day yesterday and had a few issues with things at work.

Oh and I'm regretting not being in the quiet carriage, its like a creche in here!!

I'm going to ride outside today but set off slightly later than normal in case there are any icy patches. Doing chores now.

Hmm good idea Mouse, I usually go there as its not far, but perhaps an hour with Turner and Constable is what I need.

Work stuff should hopefully be fleeting. Part of my role (also one of my objectives) is to deputise for my manager when she's not around as I'm on the highest grade. Someone else in the team takes issue with this as we all have the same job title (the different grades have widely different competencies though. Another part of my role is to proactively share my knowledge and she is happy for me to spend time showing her how to do things!

I had a chat with my boss yesterday evening about the situation, and she's got some ideas on how to approach it. Its the age old issue of having responsibility without the authority!

Morning (just)
Have been to the gym again. I had a little go
on those TRX (txr?? Rtx?? Whatever!) I have a feeling my arms are going to be talking to me tomorrow. A great work out though. I only had a bit of a play really but have booked a pt session for Monday to learn how to do them properly.

The ice is almost melted here. Conditions looking good for tomorrow's 15 miler!

I think I'm being taken* to see the Hobbit this afternoon. I've run out of excuses not to go. Hopefully my restless night last night will mean I can have a snooze during boring bits.
