no appointment necessary!
I have never swam at Handy Cross ...would be a feckin nightmare getting up there on a regular basis!I have a ballot place in the London ride thingy... which apparently goes up Leith Hill 3 times and finishes on the Mall. I am thinking VLM on wheels.
I havent actually looked to see what the prices are in our pool, I pay £20 a month and go when I likeI suppose £5.80 is about right if you look at gym prices and the like ?? Looks like a wet & cold weekend round here, just right for biking !!
it is £4.50 in Reading which i still think is steep... anyway, time for young farmers on c4
morning.cross country today in bath but not looking forward to it..looking more forward to tomorrows 75 miler with the cycling club.....and then a 100 next weekend....
forecast here is constant rain
sacked off parkrun as don't want the temptation to run too fast, off out shortly for a loosener
Oh what a lucky person ...... I shall do my best to lose him in the woods for a small fee I have done a shade over 3 hours on the bike today so he may be able to actually keep up tomorrow!
Hope......sounds like fun........
I enjoyed my cross country in bath and ran fast for me...........
going on a long bike tomorrow and heading north........weather doesn't look kind.....off to bed now
Hope ... its going to snow in Essex tomorrow
Meldy forgot to say i was ona cut back week so decided to try and do some swimming without a pullbuoy.....managed 2 lengths front crawl followed by 2 lengths breaststroke..repeated this 4 times..........was horrible .. i kept on swallowing more water and coughing and i was shattered,,,,,,,,,The blaenavon tri in May is going to fiun
Thats a goodstart Seren, it will get better!! You knowthe basics and you know how to breathe so you just need to concentrate on technique
I think I killed the Barlos Chriiiiist does he whinge !!!
i thought you were going to go easy on him........
i survived nearly 75 miles in the rain.had to take off my glasses due to them steaming up all the time.but then all the dirt and grit kept on getting in my eye........my legs could have gone on but i was freezing so was pleased to get back to the car.......
hope the weather improves for next sunday for the 100
We had 4 hours planned,by the time he arrived at mine he was 'only up to 2' so we went out and up the woods on the mtbdecided to do 3 loops of my hill reps loop and then he started whinging about that!! So we only did 2 of thoseI came home and went to the gym, did 45 mins on the cross trainer and turned it into a brick session!!
and how come you are on 100's already?!
the cycling club do reliabilty rides in feb.50 one wek, 75 the next and then 100,,,,,,too good an opportunity to get the miles in.......I'm hoping to get in a few 100 milers as i think i have a good base from last spring to build on......done a 72 and several 50 milers already on my own....
i originally was going to turn it into a small brick session but was so wet to the core that i abandoned that idea
It really has been a miserable weekend for biking ... everything is soaked and covered in mud !!
yes, horrendous rain today, walked across to the uni library and half of the paths are underwater.
run this evening which was a question of dodging the puddles
