Planning permission for Schmunks Towers has now been granted so I will have a bigger kitchen and bathroom soon. I am also having central heating installed so I have just had my last winter without heating

Does anyone wanna plan my bathroom and kitchen for me. I have no motivation for that sort of thing?

Evenings.

Firkin busy here today.  Not sure whether I was coming or going (no sniggering at the back.) Sounds like Hope had a similiar one.

So late home from work, I missed swimming.  Wrong, wrong, wrong, I'll never beat Meldy out of the water at this rate.

So, how come you were setting fire to a car park then Missy?

Fire Safety training ... nothing exciting

I have now missed several days  training so I need to get my arse in gear this week which isnt helped by 2 night shifts to come .. I need to build some distance between me and that mouse!!
Long ride with the Barlos planned for Sunday and I can shoehorn in a few swims this week and a few runs to see if my foot falls off

Friend Sue gave me some pennies for trainers for my birthday, being a shrewd old girl I have managed to get two pairs. My lovely orange 1080's in the sale for running and I have picked up some NB Minimus ones that I am going to use in the gym for my core and stability stuff, no good training to obtain stability in a good thick pair of trainers (IMO)

I may well follow mousey to bed ....

A flippin Rook took a flying leap at one of my bird feeders the other day , very nearly took it right off the tree!!

Chav - that is what my extension is for. I live in an old terrace and my bathroom is downstairs and furthest rear of the house. I am going to put the bathroom where the existing kitchen is, extend the existing bathroom by 9ft and change it into the kitchen.

I should then be able to do the washing up and look out onto my garden. Something I have not done in the 23 years I have been here

I am also putting the downstairs back into two rooms, so I shall have a front parlour a la Coronation Street and a back room.

I will be able to enclose both of them and with central heating I should be able to keep both rooms warm. Jr will have a room for privacy with his mates which will also double up as my turbo/PC/gadget room

I can now let myself get a little bit excited as I have got through the worst bit.
