Morning all,

not quite gone yet Melds, Saturday morning, but thanks for the kind thoughts.

Debbo- I take it you are 'over there' now.

I seem to have the tightest quads in our Pilates group, which means I get help to stretch them out (*winces*).

I went to my first spinning class in months and first at the new gym last night...odd experience with disco lights and lots of Cure and Mission songs but good!

Used to struggle to get into classes at my old gym because of their booking system but this one is much easier, so it'll be body pump tomorrow (if I can get up in time!)

Seren - get to the doc and get your thyroid checked - feeling cold and weight gain are classic signs

That sounds good Cas .. where is the new gym?

Wifey - good to have a nurse on board eh!   Seren that certainly would explain a few things for you

Melds...it's in Bromley and they'll let me leave my car there during the day while I'm at work too. Was slightly more expensive than the Virgin one but parking helped persuade me!

Thats probably a good enough reason I would say !

Yep, I'd rather spend a bit more for a gym that is convenient and I'll use more.

Well, I forgot my gym kit (reminds me of school) so I came home and decided to run rather than go straight back out to the gym ..
I did the bestest 1hr run that I have done in many many many months, no hint of a niggle
I am making slight changes to gait and style and what have you and have been calf strengthening for over 2 months now so they can cope ... they are a bit tight at the moment but I will trade that over injury anyday!!

*I do hope I am not overly optimistic, its sooo good to have a good run

4 miles and a parkrun and a flash mob stylee dancing proposal at aforementioned parkrun. The young lady said yes. The young man looked about 12 but apparently it was OK as he had a note from his mum

Have a nice day everyone. Hope all well and happy.

I hope spring springs soon. Lots of snowflakes on my run this morning but nothing has settled.

Hope it doesn't come down too thickly. We're doing the Gavin and Stacey run tomorrow. There, flying hospital visit to Garr's Dad, and then back in the evening.

Am leaving no2 daughter in her Dad and sisters care for the day.To be fair I think she's bored with my company now.

No1. daughter is loving having someone to do physio on. Only a few months until she graduates. I can't believe how fast that time has gone. She'll be applying for jobs soon!

Good training all, and GREAT news on your run Meldy! It shows all your patience and commitment are paying off. Soopa stuff x

That must take some time to do a flying visit to Essex?
