no appointment necessary!
i've spent an hour digging in the garden
Its friggin freezing here!
That helps Cheesy It was fecking cold I know that much, BUT another hour done, all quite good (one step away from perfect) I have changed or am trying to change my running style somewhat, the calf strengthening exercises I have been doing have certainly helped with the change over although I am still getting DOMs (in a good way)The last 2 mins had a little bit of a niggle but that could be due to tiredness and a bit of loss of form I thinkConcentrated on knee lift and slightly forward at the hips, certainly feels comfortable although the knee lift is a little more tiring than my usual ironman shuffle !!
When are you due back to work then Hope? Nice to have some quality time at home regardless of circumstance
all sounding good meldy.
TMW.digging must be good cross training....
I went on my new bike and i enjoyed it...only 63 miles this week but i followed it by a 15 min run.........cutback week starts in the morning.........
Hope....i think you should sleep most of tomorrow........have a good rest
I shall be swimming at lunchtime if I can haul my carcass out of bed in time , wont be home til late so I cant guarantee it !!
i hope so seren as i didn't have much time for anything else this weekend! 150kg of soil / stones dug up and taken to dump. repeat next weekend
had someone else here looking at the room this evening, they only stayed 5 mins so probably a no. she was from seren and hope land (or else putting on the accent for fun)
No one would put that accent on for fun
I'm glad its a cutback week as my right achillies is creaking a little this morning......might be the change of cleat/ foot angle is making my right leg take its share of the work ..and its objection..........so i will cut right back this week.......will try swimming later but not sure if my right knuckle wil like it.....its ok for cycling as the swimming might be just uncomfortable.......its a lot better so might just give it a try this afternoon
had a rest all day and didn't bother with a swim as other things going on..........just had a 3 mile run this evening and it felt ok but a little niggly afterwards and then i took it easy with the squash game.......hubby won the first game as i wasn't quick off the mark as i was hesitating...so i decided i had to play smarter and keep him running andf this seemed to work as i won the next 3 games
i ran for about an hour, having not run for a few days my legs were stiff and i ran too fast, fingers crossed they sort themselves out. likely to be doing Reading HM as a friend is injured...
i appear to have found a suitable lodger so things are now moving forward...
take care seren
Good news chav!Seren. watch that niggle .. you have history with that like I do, i'd give the running (and the squash) a good old rest for a while if I were youIts dark and I appear to be at work
yes. i didn't book squash for next week...........and will rest from running for a few days.have races saturday and sunday though so hopefully will recover.....
TMW..........good news re the lodger....
i agree with meldy
i would watch anything like squash / football which might aggravate an old injury
Evening gangNights last night and back in at 5 tonight so I am a little weary to say the least !!4 days off to follow tho with a few biking days lined up and a visit to the Tri show
