morning

 it is wet out and i should be getting on my bike........but my shed alarm is playing up so that it goes off for 5 mins when ever i open it up as i can disarm it...and can't find instructions on how to reset it..........

seesm a bit early to disturb the neighbours

Morning all,

shame about the alarm Seren, isn't there an on-line version of the manual?

My computer network at home seems to have finally died a death, so lots of careful cutting and pasting of settings will be needed before I finally get brave and start pressing some reset factory defaults.

My week is nearly over as well ... just about 5 hours left and I get a few days off

Following the physios advice I have managed to do a good 90 mins of drills and that there running thing today/last night which is quite pleasing

Long bike is pencilled in for Sunday although looking at the Rugby games that are on I am glad it is in pencil

morning all.got up early to take my hubby over 20 miles away to chuck him out of the car in the beacons in the dark..............no doubt he will make his way home 

i am struggling to fit in execise today.but first things first i have to clean and prepare my bike for my first 10TT tomorrow

great back up run cas......glad its all going well

 

i loved the TT race this morning despite the second half being horribly hard as uphill into a very strong wind...i believe i came in the top half of the ladies....

everyone was complaining of their slow times because of the wind..so that made me even more pleased with my 32:38

fantastic running there Cas, last big push ahead of the race?

about 9 and a half miles for me today, and a shorter 5 mile run yesterday afternoon. Same mileage this week for me as you managed this weekend!

I'm doing Compton, so I've got another two weekends of ramping up yet...aiming for 15 milers sat and sun next weekend, then 12 the following sat with a six hour out and back on the NDW from Newlands on the Sunday. No backing out now I've declared the plan!

So no tapering? ... some big miles there, sounds good, excellent choice of terrain for the out and back considering Compton.

i am not ultra-ing this year, but I'm hoping a diet of 25-30 miles a week will get me quick enough and fit enough to be in a position to have a go in 2014 if the mood takes me
