I know that mrs f but my mate is also staying that weekend (I am collecting him from a wedding late on the Saturday) and I still have uni work and gardening... Besides while I reckon I could run it I don't need to run it if you see

I've got 3.5 months until my degree finishes and I will then be free

4 mile run along the beach in North Wales this evening, snow still on the hills... I've got windburn!

Glad you're enjoying your holiday seren

I've been working nights all weekend and my only excitement was chasing off two needs who were trying to break into the shed. Grrrrr.

I'm wondering whether I should even attempt to get round at Brighton. I did an 11 and a 14 mile run in January and since then it's mostly been 2 or 3!

awww spoil sport!

Im sure those training for Lanza will not me let off so lightly!

Current Brighton sea temp is 6.8 celcius (mean 8.5 range 6.5 - 9.9), a random surfing website says

'Very cold water temperature (6 °C) at Brighton. Despite the sunshine, even with a thick winter wetsuit, neoprene hood, gloves and boots it will be difficult to stay comfortable in the sea for long today'.

and for that reason I'm out.

no-one wants my Brighton place then?

So we all get to sit and watch Barlos go sea swimming then ?

Seren, I have just downloaded my Garmin and it shows just over 4000ft of elevation for Monday !!!

My driver is watching the footy the day before Brighton so no swim for me thanks. Clearly that's the only reason and not because a) it's fecking freezing, b) it's fecking swimming and c) staying over on the Sat night was going to cost £200 (bliddy exorbitant hotels) whereas Sunday night is only £89, which is still loads!

Annoyingly work won't let me have the Monday off, so instead after brekky we've to head back to Londinium.
