no appointment necessary!
well done, always good to have a hobby
morning.I am thinking about swimming......but might sleep instead
for those who haven't seen my tweet about post-Brighton marathon drinkies I have reserved an area at the North Laine microbrewery - http://www.drinkinbrighton.co.uk/north-laine - between 2:30 and 5pm and I guess most people should be able to make that after finishing. Obviously you can carry on with the festivities after 5 but we have to make way for another group to take the reserved space. The pub is pretty central in Brighton - in fact you'll run past it a couple of times early on - and easy enough to find (map is on that link). Not been there myself yet but it has a good reputation and I'm always up for trying some new beers!
see (some of you) there!
Morning FB, do you know if the microbrewery has sport on tv in it as there is a certain semi final at 4pm on and I would like to see it.
From what I remember the pub is a completely television free zone, but there are a number of other hostelries within staggering distance.
Evening all I see Cas was practising her counting last night!!The number of my long rides remaining seem to be down to one hand now .... it must be time for the tapir soon
Sounds great FB. I'm looking forward to seeing you all.
I am very proud of my lack of taper wibbleness during waking hours... truth is I don't actually have time to think about it right now. When I am aasleep however, I am having some VERY lively marathon nightmares.
They are quite entertaining.
It would just be nce if the temperature rose a few degrees and the wind fecked off for race day.
Hope- I know long range forecasts are rubbish, but this one does have some sun and nicer temperatures for next weekend.
Solid swim for me last night (albeit woefully slow), so I think I won't drown in May. I think I'll be tapir free for Brighton, so just a long training run.
