The cough must be easing off then Chav .. I forget to reply to text messages at a reasonable hour but I am glad the pillows worked !

Last night shift for me tonight and then hopefully a sunny weekend off.  I do have to put together an Ikea bookcase that a friend has given me .. this could be interesting, I have no idea what it looks like and I have a pile of wood and screws

Thats a decent time there chavage, well done

Cheeky little 7.5 mile run for me today and a 60 mile bike planned for tomorrow, grandly named 'The Tour de Vale' !

I think I need to do some speedwork with the chavlet.

I did 2.5hrs on the bike yesterday, an hour swim this morning followed by an hour's run, so it looks like I'm back in the saddle so to speak.

It is glorious out there though, it's almost rude to be indoors.

64 miles for me to check the legs still work . it appears they do, followed by an after watching the tennis and dozing and I am now having a little glass of vino because I can

Good cycling and running everyone

I managed to get to Bognor yesterday before my rear mech decided to shear off and log itself in the back wheel, right in the middle of a blooming roundabout too.  Prompted a right comical technical dismount it did.

And since I've broken my race bike too, I had to borrow Toucs cyclocross for the tri this morning, knobbly tyres and everything.

You didnt manage to break that as well then ??

09/06/2013 at 17:36

Nah, I tried but it's stronger than it looks

09/06/2013 at 17:36

A bit like Toucs really

I'm afraid I didn't just LOL at that comment, I did one of those double entendre dirty chuckles. Bad Mouse.

Good race? (Aside from the bike.)

Yup, good race.  Although it was over a bit quick.  Almost not worth getting out of bed for

I've never done anything less than a 1/2 IM, keep meaning to give one a go!

09/06/2013 at 17:50

I have decided to do a sprint tri end of august.....2 weeks before IMW.....seems like a good way to practise transitions....and as I will be in taper mode..........and i did it a few years ago so would be good to see if i have improved at all.....

Go sit on the naughty (thought) step Mousie

Bromide yes ... usually administered in tea

09/06/2013 at 19:42

Shall I parcel up the next pretty man I see & send him to you Mousie?

Of course, our tastes are probably different so it mightn't go quite to plan...
