no appointment necessary!
it will be
good recovery session
It'll be feckin freezing! ... just dont tell those doing the Half I said that
Time to try BBQ'd brussel sprouts....
Clocked up another 18k yesterday, next step up will be 20k.
I did a *race* today with no gadgets, no gizmos, no timing chip; just one foot in front of the other. Now I think I have found the way I want to run ie with no self pressure to meet times/targets etc
And this was the Family Schmunks Smackdown and I am pleased to say that Jr beat Dad of Jr to the finish line by approx. 30 secs.
#oneproudMumPS He also did his first Tri whilst I was in Lanza which he said he enjoyed and has asked to do another
great proud mum moments Schmunkeee
Perfect Schmunks, one foot in front of the other and hopefully enjoying your running. I think there's a lot to be said for it, I might try it...well done to Jr too.
Nice going Schmunks!I am home and in my jimjams ready for Springwatch .... although I think it might be Winterwatch for a while yet
Bloody CRA (Canada Revenue Agency). Phoneline constantly busy...I think they have taken the phone off the hook so no one can get through.
Well done Schmunks!
i feel really rubbish - first time I've been ill for years and I don't like it, especially as I have to make my own hot drinks . I'm not going to work tomorrow so it must be bad!
JC - boo to Canadian bureaucracy
finally got through to CRA .... took nearly the whold day.
coming up for air
TMW.still busy ??
I am hoping it will stop raining soon so that I can go running.....it hasn't stopped ALL DAY
yes, still busy, but luckily today was a "busy from start to finish but you get everything done and can leave on time" day, as opposed to "busy from start to finish and you stay late and still are behind when you leave" day!!
just posted a run as well
good going on getting a run in.I got soaked on my run......and noticed the rivers have gone from shallow to a torrent so might have to rethink my swim in the Taff in the morning
WISH I could do a PhD instead of this boring c**p.
got wet in the Taff in the morning..then after a dry day it poured down last night for my bike ride.......riding in a chaingang for the first time and got so much muddy water in my mouth from the wheels infront that it was worse than the Taff
Meldy .the cycling club have a policy of mudguards over the winter but they all came off a month or so ago.
it wasn't raining when most of us set out from home..........but lots of flooding on the lanes very quickly
I never managed to get mudguards on my bike.
Sounds yukky Seren. Hope you spit not swallow
