What are you all drinking?
You just let it all out - it's allowed, you know! I'm glad you're staying friends. They are much harder to come by than boyfriends/girlfriends, I have always thought, so when you find a good one, you hang on to them.
I should eat something...and have a shower. Too bloody tired and sad to think about eating. What I'd like to do is sleep...sleep for a very long time until things stop hurting. But seeing as that isn't an option, I'll make the bed. And try to remember the soup recipe for tonight.
howdy all good to see the pub back in action
I made a lovely soup yesterday (no modesty, me!) - butterbean, bacon and leek. It was vair yummy. Today's soup is lentil and carrot, with a hint of cumin and chilli.
tonights is known as veggie chicken soup...as in it makes you feel better. The irony is that my ex (ugh...hate saying that) made it for me when I was ill...and it's all I ever want if I'm feeling low and sad and miserable. I need to get bread though. Although I might just make some instead.
<wipes blackboard clean and writes this evening's menu>
Spicy lentil and carrot soupSlow-roasted garlic and lemon chicken with potatoes and parsnips
Maybe some chilled SB to go with that?
Just a pick up drink please Actually I think I just need a good night's sleep. It's going to be an early one tonight.
just a drink here please
another day in the pool trying to get to grips with butterfly. or more specifically, not drowning and flailing both arms at the same time
decided if it's piddling with rain all the time might as well go swimming
most miffed I've had to move a lot of plants back into the greenhouse to avoid them drowning. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
morning all...bit of a sore head this morning...the final cocktail last night maybe wasn't such a good idea. I'm making bacon and egg bagels in a min, anyone want one? With tea *adds more cups to the table*
Is anyone awake?
Noone should expect anything more
Damn. You've overtaken me in Sunday morning productiveness.
