Thank you muchly, the first did not touch the sides. Hic.

I'd never hurt a gorgeous barmaid.  One or two tw*ts at work might be in danger though.

We quite often kill things at work. Not people though, well not yet ...

I'll just nurse one, once I have got his tumbleweed out of here

Whilst you've got the broom out you couldn't give my downstairs rooms a bit of a brush round could you PS?  I have cold and am feeling very lazy.

Oi!  Lovely though it is to see your lovely self I was kind of hoping for PS to find time to vanish my dustballs.

Ah, dustballs can wait

TP, your cruise looked fantastic! I wonder if we passed your OH on the motorway yesterday?

Mr Shed, how the devil are you?

I need to finish packing for Conference. Usual dilemma of what to take, end up taking too much and still can't find anything to wear.......

I am insanely jealous of her cruise for one thing. I know its not nice but it is true.

I am well. Much  better now after May's op. Back to working hard, but I need to make up for an upaid month or so off work

I even thought of TP watching the athletics in helsinki at the weekend...

...although dustballs didnt feature in those thoughts

It's okay to be envious (rather than jealous? - you know me, ever the pedant! ). I think most of us are envious of that fantastic cruise.

Glad you are feeling better but ouch! to the money side...mind you, I haven't worked for over a year now, so have forgotten what it's like to have money coming in...

We passed the Olympic stadium in Helsinki, all the tents were there & the OB vans were setting up for the athletics.  Helsinki was, however, the dullest of the cities we visited.  A wet Sunday probably didn't help.  Tallin however promised nothing but was simply stunning.

I've heard good reports of Tallin - think it might have to go on the (ever-growing) list of places to visit

I stand corrected. There is nothing in the 10 commandements about coveting thy neighbours holiday. I didn't think I would need that long but I was tired for quite a while - general anaesthetic and having my insides messed with. Luckily I borrowed a bit of extra dosh when I moved house in October  - with a view to home improvement. It has taken the pressure off, even if i don't end up with a loft extension

Oh Talinn - I have seen pictures - wonderful. went to Vilnius a year or 2 ago. It was parky (-10) but fascinating

I see our absentee landlord has changed his name.

Next world champs are in Moscow - very keen to go - not been since 1982 and athletics watching is a LOT of fun - was in Berlin in 2009

oh really?
