You can use the eggs to make the meringues for the Eton Mess, but you'd have a lot of yolks left over......

Loon, please don't wear George out.

Chicken cacciatore with pasta. And jolly tasty, even if I say so myself

if you take away the mushrooms that sounds lovely, had to google it

Veggie Option is Macaroni Cheese a la Feb's RW mag.

Eton Mess is a good plan (sneaks off to buy merigues). Might do a microwave golden syrup pud as well....yum.............

I LOVE macaroni cheese

Me too.... Proper comfort food.

Friends over for dinner tomorrow and I am making spicy pimento goulash, preceded by lentil and carrot soup and followed by cheese and fruit. I might even manage a glass of fizzy if my taste buds behave

This one is a bit weird as it uses pureed cauliflower. Cub 2 is not a fan of cauliflower but I pureed it so well he didn't notice. Very healthy version to make up for cake consumed earlier...

i might have one glass of fizzy tomorrow, since it starts at 7pm and is carriages at 1am.... assuming I can stay up beyond 10pm........

We were at a party last week and I volunteered to be chauffeur, since I can't drink anyway, and by ten o'clock, I was ready to go home, but had to wait till half midnight because I didn't want to drag Mr ST and our friends away. Could have murdered a cup of tea, though!

I cant cope with staying sober if everyone else is getting sozzled
16/03/2012 at 21:36
Doesn't bother me, which is just as well, given that pretty much all alcohol smells like vinegar to me Who want to drink vinegar, eh?
16/03/2012 at 21:40
not me
16/03/2012 at 21:42
I either get totally outrageously wrecked or stay sober, I have to be in the zone to get wrecked and it's not clever. Sober is the way forward. My best friend (Ugly Betty) who we are going with doesn't drink so it's OK.

Say hello to not-at-all Ugly Betty from me, please. She was luffly.
16/03/2012 at 21:54

She is loverly, and a bestest person, wouldn't be without her.

I will do.

Right, time to take myself off to bed and read for a little while.

Kiss kiss night night, everyone xx
