It's just started on TV right now.
I simply can't watch it without suffering nightmares for weeks.
Marathon Man. The scene with Lawrence Olivier as the old Nazi dentist.
I just cannot watch it. Not even from behind the sofa. Just thinking of it gives me the heebie jeebies ...
Oh my God, here he is .... aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
Thank you for sharing!
*quickly goes off to trawl through porn sites in order to try and hide the 'Spice Girls' reference in his search history*
Lots of people have said that Paranormal Activity 3 is the scariest film ever. I watched it and didn't find it scary at all.
Wolf Creek worked for me!
The first time I watched The Shining it scared me so much!! Those creepy twins!!
The Entity is still the only film i cannot watch at night time. It works on a psychological level like the Paranormal films, where blood isn't needed to chill you, but just the very feeling that something evil is lurking and can strike anytime.
The Fog would be my second, but not the shitty remake.
Gingerfurball has a point about The Shining, and i saw its 30th anniversary premiere down in Brighton. Even got Jan Harlen the executive producer to sign my postcard of the two girls in the corridor.. Not the scariest, but definitely my favourite horror film...
I first saw The Omen in monochrome. That was creepy. The bizarre bit was that the TV was on the blink and we could only watch it in green and white.
It reminds me of Casualty now, when I find myself shouting "Don't put your hand in the mower blades" or whatever. You just know that it's going to be horrible. I don't watch Casualty either. Too much like going to work.
My son was watching Paranormal Activity in the house on his own - right at the bit where there is a power cut in the film and the house goes dark our electricity went out at the same time and son said he nearly soiled himself
