Cheese and salad on really nice bread.

Or one of my favourites for lunch is hummous, grated carrot and chilli heat wave doritos.

PS

Have to agree the  Chip Butty    White bread, butter, chips to excess with salt and pepper !! (For those that want to go continental HP sauce)

A bromide sandwich for you!

Bacon for me.  Crispy bacon, thick, fluffy, white bread, HP sauce.

Sausage on a white floury bap (can this still be called a sandwich?) with HP sauce.

Or the classic ham, cheese and coleslaw (which my daughter always has with pineapple as well)

I think anything involving a filling and a bread type product is a sandwich

Hash browns and a fried egg is a pretty good sandwich.

Anything involving egg that isn't cake is not food.

*peanut butter, cheese and onion walkers, crappy thin sliced white bread.
*grilled chicken, crispy bacon, avacado on ciabatta.
*fish fingers, rocket and tartare sauce on doorstep brown bread.

You're not from the West Midlands are you Sansom? That's a classic sandwich in Coventry

Also nice with gravy and sage and onion stuffing

Haha no i'm not but I can see why it's a classic!

Good call on adding the stuffing, OM NOM.

Falafel with spicy salsa and jalapenos and extra mature cheddar in a wrap, baked in the oven til just crispy.

Chicken, ham, mature cheddar and branston pickle on a wholegrain baguette.

If all else fails - the hot pork sandwich will always do
