SW- you were running strong last night, then i noticed, you'd missed out one of the reps. How's the nupitals going?

09/10/2012 at 11:43

Good result eric good result, did you miss the trip to see the st johns ambulnce.

Well done to all the others BB, RB DAZ some good runs.

NI hard luck, hope you recover quickly.

I was not going to run in the week before due to calf problem, still dont know what?  Tried on the day with the intention of just starting and trying as feeling easier but knew when I set off that it was tightening up by 1 half miles knee was beinging to ache so dropped out.  First DNF .

all the great people DNF and DNS....can sometimes be the hardest thing to do

NI - belated commiserations at Chester, I was gutted for you when I saw the updates on FB..sounds like you are taking it in your stride and that there is no long term damage, which is good news

I am being sensible and NOT entering liverpool this weekend. Hugely looking forward to Ennerdale the following weekend though

09/10/2012 at 15:12

Clairster-is that Liverpool, full stop or is there a race, what's the Ennerdale event.

09/10/2012 at 17:45

Four Villages have just sent me free elite entry - maybe they have me mixed up with NI .

Pity I entered it last week.

Following Clairsters example I won't be entering Liverpool for a while either.  Or Stockport for that matter.

09/10/2012 at 18:19

RB-i think that was meant for me but i've also entered, er, have you entered as a SH or Wilmslow? i 've noticed there's quite a few old gits from Wilmslow entered as V60's.

Are you saying Liverpool and Stockport are bad places?

09/10/2012 at 18:22

haha! its liverpool marathon this weekend. Ennerdale 50k is the following weekend, 2 laps round, erm, ennerdale beats 50miles round rotherham (yawn!!)

09/10/2012 at 20:53
RB. I'll have the free entry from you if you want to get rid of it. I'd put a cheeky smiley face at this point but can't on my mobile.

Could be my first v50 race and a showdown with J8 if we both run. J8 you should run the Stockport 10 this year. I'm away that weekend so no competition from me. But I think it might clash with the derby at Etihad.

Clairster- there's another Ennerdale race which goes over the hills.

10/10/2012 at 05:33

ahha..yes TB, I am not super had core though

10/10/2012 at 08:44

TB - didnt mean to miss one out but had to go to the loo and M had set everyone off again without waiting for me. Thats my story and I am sticking to it! Nothing doing re wedding plans. Have suggested we go on "Don't Tell the Bride" but hes having none of it.

Doing Brid half weekend after next then some vile XC races so have been training hard(ish).

10/10/2012 at 10:22

SW- don't tell the bride could be fun, i could help , we have another granddaughter arrived late last night, off to Derby shortly, my life the last 8 months or so has been spent on going up and down either the A1 or M1 but all worth while

10/10/2012 at 11:43

congrats TB

10/10/2012 at 12:23

TB - congrats

TB's new grandaughter - commiserations

10/10/2012 at 12:28

TB - Congratulations!  Well she was born in the right county to do the Bullock Smithy with her grandad someday. By then, they're bound to have some kind of runner's viagra, which would make it a doddle for an 80 yr old!

10/10/2012 at 13:27

Nice one TB.

10/10/2012 at 13:36
TB - congratulations!

RB - Toying with the Tatton Half... but entries are full, however, is Malcolm likely to find an extra entry?

need to get my s10 entry in too!
10/10/2012 at 16:35

PPP - I've a place going for Tatton if we can transfer.

10/10/2012 at 17:39

not been on for a bit, it is hard reading about others running when walking is a challenge.

Unfortunately riding a bike seems to help, does anyone want to go for a sunday ride anytime, 2-3 hours with a cafe stop.

Mort - sorry for ruining your day, I rarely use the coop, you will be safe in the future I am sure.
