Oops - That didn't really work for some reason.

NI - I have a sh*t load of DIY, I'm sure I could find a nice simple job for you to hone your skills on. You could borrow my kids if you want and I could probably lend you the wife for a bit as well.

NI that sounds too soon to be attempting a run. A few more days off is required so that I will be above you in Oct mileage charts.

I might have to pay for a 4 villages place as RB is quiet about my offer to take his free entry.

PPP may join you on Sunday as long as you don't start putting in 6:30 miles like you usually do. Trying to keep my LSR as just that. I am interested in vets relays too.

GBM good idea about night out. I can celebrate being 49 and 11/12ths.

NI-try being injured for 12 months, hopefully all that's behind me.

12/10/2012 at 23:32

NI - cheers for the entry at Mansfield but I'm signed up for the Tatton half the following day so if I'm in running shape I'll be going for that. Apparently I've got patella tendinopathy in my left knee, just to add to the various list of injuries being reported.

MTBB - cheers

BHB - all 7.30 ish, promise. Shall I see you at yours at 8?

4 vills is going to be great!
13/10/2012 at 12:43

RC--Good luck at Liverpool tomorrow!!! Go for it!

13/10/2012 at 13:48
Ppp and bhb, Depending on how much I have to drink tonight I may join you. I've done 6 this morning and was bloody hard work, so I may only do 10-
12m. 14 is too much for me at the moment, as my longest runs have only been 6 and they hurt at 7.03 pace.
I'm doing a park run next week, to pace my son round to a sub 19 and I think at the moment I may struggle and get beaten by him.
13/10/2012 at 14:54

SARQ--No mental strength?

13/10/2012 at 16:32
True, I know when I'm rubbish though.

Good luck RC. An undulating course so if you beat Eric's time that'll be impressive, unless Vernon type of hills suddenly appear on the course.
13/10/2012 at 18:58
SARQ is that your 9 year old that you are expecting to go sub 19. Thought I was a cruel father!
13/10/2012 at 19:26
JMC - you are a cruel father.

Bhb - shall I call for you at 8?
Sarq - I have started on the wine already, so rest assured it will be sedate. C u at 8.05 at the lizzy? Hair of the dog may help.

Rc- have a great run

Ub - are you doing the goose step tomorrow? If so SCHNELL, SCHNELL, auf gehts!
13/10/2012 at 20:34
RC - good luck tomorrow!
13/10/2012 at 20:49

RC good luck - and you too UB if you are running.

PPP, yes I heard you the first time. 8 should be fine, but I would prefer 9 next time!

SARQ, are you sure you can run sub 19 at the moment

Any geeks out there - do you know how to get rid of DRM codes from video files downloaded from iTunes?

13/10/2012 at 22:29

Belated good luck to Red very Chilli this morning no doubt!

Daz- Thanks for Aldi tip-off. I am very pleased with my new running jacket. Makes me feel like a proper runner

Thanks for the run this morning PPP and SARQ.  The 2 hours flew by, and didn't even mind the early start.

Was there anyone we didn't slag off during our run?  If so we can talk about them next week!

14/10/2012 at 11:23

FOAR--Thanks, i enjoyed the run but for some reason my ears were burning!

14/10/2012 at 13:17
We'll save Eric for next week and the prime minister.
Anyone know how RC got on?
