SARQ - can we change the timing as then I (and J8) could run from my house and meet you at Portwood and do the 2nd half with you. If we met you at 8:30 that would be better.

Thought I'd take a chance and put a Grindleford reccie suggestion forward, knowing full well that JMC will come along and change it anyway.

Friday 28th January - 7.30am train from Marple, arrive Grindleford 8.11am.  Return train from Grindleford at 12.29pm, arriving back in Marple at 1.06pm.  Just over 4 hours for the reccie should be ample and we've done this comfortably before.  If things go wrong then we have a couple of pints in Grindleford and get the 2.29pm return.  The other option is to get the 9.44am from Marple and get the 2.29pm return.  Any other suggestions?

Anything happening about a Christmas Eve run?  We normally have a nice leisurely group run around Lyme Park or similar.

Eric - My suggestion would be to do the recce on 28th December instead .

ES- 7.30am train is fine with me.

SARQ, J8 - I will try to meet you at the Tesco's layby at 8am, will have to set off from mine at about 7:15 but at least I'll be done by 9

sarq..i can post it if that would help? if you are in the area I am in west didsbury..I am around and about most evenings. I am heading to heaton moor tonight, are you in the heatons? i could drop off if that would also help...

clairster yes I live in heaton Moor, I'm training tonight in Stretford and riding back so won't be home till around 9ish. Someone will be in though, so you could pop it in the letter box or leave it with my OH.

Eric--I'm up for the Grindleford recce but as i've hardly run in 2 months and i currently weigh 47 stone i think we will have to get the 4.29pm train back.
