clairster yes I live in heaton Moor, I'm training tonight in Stretford and riding back so won't be home till around 9ish. Someone will be in though, so you could pop it in the letter box or leave it with my OH.
It's the road at the side of the Elizabethan, No. 12 Broomfield. If you don't drop it off I can pop into W. Dids, Thank very much again.

GBM - what happened to your strategy of keeping a decent base level of training going and staying fit rather than your usual Yo-Yo approach!

Although I haven't listened yet, I've just seen that this week's Marathon Talk (www.marathontalk.com) interviewee is a guy called Derek Ivens. Anyone ever heard of him? Could there be more than one?

JMC--Yes i was full of good intentions after Amsterdam but ended up having a well earned rest period instead. I was supposed to be getting back into running a few weeks ago but i've been really busy at work plus a friend of mine is over from Australia for three weeks and work and seeing him are far more important than running. My VLM training plan starts on Xmas Eve and once VLM is done i will definitely keep a decent base level of training going and stay fit rather than my usual Yo-Yo approach!

Clairster, thanks for the garmin found it behind the bush. Incidently is there a lead missing that connects to a pc? As it appears it just has the charger.

BHB - got a chest infection which is hindering me and have been keeping the effort levels v low this week, so undecided about the Ribble. Also my eldest is doing birthday related stuff in the afternoon as well, so would need to get off sharpish. 50-50 I'd say

Sarq- would like to join you Saturday, all being well. What time should I meet you at the Liz, or should I drive to Tesco's? I need to be back for 10 and only want to do 16 or so.
20/12/2012 at 10:15

Mort/Anyone interested - I've got a blind lady asking for a guide to do the Adlington Winter Warmer. She just needs to hold onto the guides arm and isnt bothered if they've guided before or not. Her time is predicted as 62 mins. Are you free and can you help? Let me know!

20/12/2012 at 11:24
Sorry kwaka I am working. I was disappointed not to be able to do the race myself as its a great idea what with not having to rush and still being able to win
20/12/2012 at 12:50

PPP you could get to the Liz and I'll drive there.

I'll depart at 7.50, I won't wait for you if you're much later

Or you could pick me up on the way, I'm not bothered which. The route will take around 2hrs - 2'10 I think so you'll be back home around 10.15-20. I'm sure you're OH won't mind.
