SARQ - can we change the timing as then I (and J8) could run from my house and meet you at Portwood and do the 2nd half with you. If we met you at 8:30 that would be better.
sarq - i do, but they might as well take the unit itself as well as it is no use to me without the charger and cradle
nice work Daz
JMC, ask J8 not me.
I'm setting off at 8am either from my house (if you're going later) or Tiviot dale (as planned ) at 8am, as I'll need to get back.
Clarister, what price you after for it, you can DM if you want and I can let him know if he's interested as he now thinking of just getting a 301 or 205. Thanks.
J8 - Just stuck the Werneth Low run on Facebook - 14 miles exactly from our 'ouse
hi sarq - its sat in my drawer gathering dust so am not after a price per se, happy for it to go to a good home with the proviso that it gets returned if it gets upgraded..
clairster- Don't give it to him- he can't even get your name right!
JMC- I have made arrangements to meet UB,so going with the original plan and meeting SARQ at 8 am
MH- Thanks for that, I'll have a go at that over Christmas.
UB- Thanks for the run earlier
Thought I'd take a chance and put a Grindleford reccie suggestion forward, knowing full well that JMC will come along and change it anyway.
Friday 28th January - 7.30am train from Marple, arrive Grindleford 8.11am. Return train from Grindleford at 12.29pm, arriving back in Marple at 1.06pm. Just over 4 hours for the reccie should be ample and we've done this comfortably before. If things go wrong then we have a couple of pints in Grindleford and get the 2.29pm return. The other option is to get the 9.44am from Marple and get the 2.29pm return. Any other suggestions?
Anything happening about a Christmas Eve run? We normally have a nice leisurely group run around Lyme Park or similar.
Eric - My suggestion would be to do the recce on 28th December instead .
ES- 7.30am train is fine with me.
SARQ, J8 - I will try to meet you at the Tesco's layby at 8am, will have to set off from mine at about 7:15 but at least I'll be done by 9
QRAS- It's clairster with a small c
lolz @ tromicia
Mrot, that's something else i hadn't noticed.
clairster - he said OK he'll give that a whirl, I could come and pick it up from you if you let me know when you're around. I work in Manchester and live in Stockport. He lives in Royton.
I am in for grindleford, 7.30 sounds good, will join at New Mills, hope the train has a toilet
sarq..i can post it if that would help? if you are in the area I am in west didsbury..I am around and about most evenings. I am heading to heaton moor tonight, are you in the heatons? i could drop off if that would also help...
clairster yes I live in heaton Moor, I'm training tonight in Stretford and riding back so won't be home till around 9ish. Someone will be in though, so you could pop it in the letter box or leave it with my OH. It's the road at the side of the Elizabethan, No. 12 Broomfield. If you don't drop it off I can pop into W. Dids, Thank very much again.
Eric--I'm up for the Grindleford recce but as i've hardly run in 2 months and i currently weigh 47 stone i think we will have to get the 4.29pm train back.
top stuff SARQ, will drop off about 7.50 as I have yoga class round the corner
