Stupid modern technology
You are probably right TB. I think I'll start track sessions next week. Did a parkrun last week and will probably start doing one a month or so.
TB, I can't imagine that I will get any PBs now. The only one that I think I could get is marathon as I have only run two, but I am not motivated to run another. 10k will be very difficult and 5k almost impossible.
TB--You're copying and pasting ability never fails to impress me!
mort - I just did 3M "race pace practice": 7:45, 8:05, 8:00took them "smooth and relaxed"hardly broke sweat reallylovely sunny day along the (Bridgewater) canal only one hissing swan to contend with
Oooooooh get you Slug 'smooth and relaxed' 'hardly broke sweat' !!!!!
I am not running at the mo due to knee/thigh issues but at least I will be well-rested for Sunday (or still injured )
GBM-in my retirement, my time allows me to explore, read, investigate the science behind running, so that i may pass on these gems of wisdom for others who don't have the time (too busy paying taxes), that said i still can't get smileys. How may i be of assisstance to you? please bear in mind no offensive comments. (wink smiley)
I've just got smileys back
Saturday Long Run
Meeting at Rose Hill 8 o'clock
Best of luck to everyone racing this weekend
GBM- Thanks for the company yesterday, must of been a good session my legs are aching.
J8-is it 4x5 miles
TB- Not bothered, last week we went up to Disley, Kettleshulme, Lyme Park, Poynton and couldn't resist the last mile on the Middlewood way.
Jonah8/TB--4 x 5 miles on the MW would suit me in case i blow up. See you at Rose Hill.
