Actually one of the things I like about TOTP2 is that it serves as a reminder that every era has its crap music as well as the nuggets. They quite often throw in the odd track that you'd totally forgotten about, and probably for good reason. I can remember a repeat of a whole episode of TOTP from 1976 which IMO stands as a reason on its own why punk coming along was a good thing. And I'm not even much of a punk fan.
And Mark Radcliffe is certainly a worthy successor to Steve Wright.
