..several times last week, and now today I have been finding that after loading (apoparently) the site WWW pages, I cannot actually do anything, and a message at the bottom of IE says "Error in Page". Thus unable to check on assertion that there is a comprehensive list of races people are going to race and their PBs.

Any idea why this is happening? SB?

See.. it is working already.

Now then.. bearing in mind I like a snug fitting pair of briefs by day, but wear boxers at night, has anyone any idea why the site is misbehaving?

P.s.

Boing! (again)

Sorry Tim but SB is probably the only one who can help. If he hasn't logged on then you might have to wait a bit.

BTW I like black underwear also red (we are talking about ladies' aren't we?)

Hi there tim I have not had a look at this I will have to see what you have all done while I have been away. Please tell me a)hat Platform you are using( Windows 95, NT Mac etc) b) what browser you are using ( IE or Netscape) and what pages you are visiting when when does it all go wrong? The more details you can give me the better.

Jon,

STOP STALKING ME!!!!!

SB. The problem seems to be at work Windows 2000 using Internet explorer (or Netscape, I think).
At home, under Windows98 and Netscape it all worked fine - it happens onb the first page, where the drop down menus
come on, but nothing else. Evrytime I try and access the menus, the message (at bottom left of screen), error on page, comes up..

Now have edited profile successfully and could read others (although seemed oto be very narrow window...).

Well, PBs are there, so that is very good.

Might be our local system.

Thanks for attention.
Tim

OK Tim, It may be a problem on the Windows 2000 platform, I will try to test it this morning and see what happens.

I have written the site on the NT4 platform so it will work with 98 I know that it also is fine with ME.

This are the sorts of problems I have to sort every day at work!!! Why can Microsoft not check and make sure that when they bring out an upgrade, thing will continue to work!!!!

I'm using WindowsXP and IE6 and the only problem I have is that the site is very slow.

Thanks Ross, that is a server problem with our host, I get the same from time to time.

I find the site irritating - that it has to open the web server adverts each time, but have no problems opening it on Win98.

sorry Aluaka, we have to have this as it is why the web site is hosted free. if you minimise the 2 popups that open and then forget about them they will not bother you.

When the club is rich, we will look at moving to a server which does not have pop up ads.

There are very hosting services that will allow me to use the technology that out web site uses free.
