What do you with all the Tshirts?

They're useful to keep warm before the start of a race, but can be ditched at the last minute. Lots of races will recycle the 'left' tshirts.

It's psychologically nice to the tshirt from the same race a few years before. Either psyches out the opposition, or makes them laugh when you crash and burn!

Maiday - yes actually I like the Bristol Half ones and I train in mine. Are you local? Running in Bristol, I find all the people in Bristol Half t-shirts nod to one another more than not. Jools B (fellow Bristol based runner) and I did a sort of 'consumer test' last year for a laugh to check.

Being sad and into recycling I actually made mine into a quilt as an experiment. Have to admit that it turned out a lot better than I though it would.

I do wear some of mine for gym and such but most of them just hang there forlornly waiting to be picked-up...

...reminds me of some nightclubs I used to frequent when I was a student

Hi Mouse - I'd forgotten about the 'smile' test. Maybe I'll wear one of mine tonight and see how happy Bristolians are feeling!!

Ooops.

I donate them to the Mrs Tiggy Winles Hedgehog sanctuary as emergency 'hog stretchers.

I have been meaning to turn mine into a duvet cover & cushions for ages, but not got round to it.
My mara PB T-shirt must however be worn the day before any significant race, even if just for a few minutes. And I quite often do exams in mara T-shirts - reminds me there is more to life.

Pyjamas are good - rather a lot are knee-length on me so do quite nicely as nighties.

Hello again Jools.

I'm swimming tonight but look forward to playing 'guess who Jools might be' on the downs in Bristol Half t-shirts between now and September!

Great idea mrs G!

I am afraid to say for most of mine they get torn up and used to clean my bike!
