In 4 weeks time I will be unemployed for the first time in my life.  It's my choice, I'm having a middle aged gap year.  I think it's time for some down time for me

I can see myself taking a very different career path when I start looking for work again.

Now that is interesting, a Gap year, I would love to do that

Hello all. Sorry I can't stop, got another 12 hour bus shift coming up but just want to say I hope you all have a good day!

I'm a carpenter, very lucky to love what I do, and look forward to going to work every day, no two days are the same, one week, I'll be doing a hand cut roof, another, fitting a kitchen, another making bespoke furniture.
I love the satisfaction of looking at a completed job, knowing not many people could have done it better.
