We all like some food and detest others.

What food can you really not stand (not food you're allergic to, but stuff that makes you want to hurl).

I eat almost any food, but raw fish and shell fish I almost never can eat. I have tried, but raw fish (german Matjes) has the consistency of a fish sneeze, and most shell fish look like the results of a good nose pick. Euuurrgh.

Godzilla - not *real* parmesan cheese, just that grated yuk - don't buy it!

Regarding winkles - I presume we were still referring to shell fish?

What is wrong with Beetroot - marvellous. However, I once (just last yera in fact) put a fairly large picked one in my mouth an I sort of swallowed it whole - that really hurt. I never noticed its departure, however.

Ugh overripe bananas are foul as are some oranges.

I hate dates, apricots, broad beans, kidneys, (in fact I don't eat meat but I still fantasise about fillet steak, oh and faggots, yum), stilton or any other blue cheese, goats cheese, quite a lot of cheeses actually.

In defense of Tofu, the marinated stuff is a God send to us veggies.

Scotty H

obviously heard of it but never had it - i'm a veggie, but even when i ate meat it never appealed ...

i understand they do veggie haggis now!

Oh blue cheeses are so yummy - although I hardly ever have them now.

Brussel Sprouts must be the worst natural occuring things in the world!!!

Black pudding is pretty disgusting - maybe it's the idea of what it is that makes it taste even worse

oh and prawns - they're just little maggots
any kind of jam is pretty 'orrible too.
and tea is like dirty dish water
not that I'm fussy or anything..

Love mint but can't even sit at the same table as someone eating mint sauce. ...and mint in peas! What's all that about then?
Oh yeh, the person who invented Crunchies obviously has no tounge or he wouldn't be responsible for such crimes against humanity.

HATE - offal, avocados, raw tomatoes, blue cheese, dripping, aspic, cooked or dried fruit...... I'm sure there's more.

Happy Shambling!

SPOUTS!! These are probably the best veg/food in the world, closely followed by swede, parsnips and potatos
