Make everyone pay at the point of service, that would stop the wasters and shirkers

So if faced with a choice of 20 fags a day, or health care ? Up to you how you spend your money ( or benefits cheque)

not really, i am sure they would always make it free for the wasters and shirkers.

Free food.

Think benefits should be paid in vouchers that can't be exchanged for booze, fags or tattoos

But that's another rant

I doubt your average benefits waster would understand opera

Having a Latin O level helps

Maybe we should get rid of the do-gooders ?

Surgical means..... Cut their hands off so they can't stuff their faces ?

Cut their balls off so they can't bred any more scroungers

I might be wrong but I reckon the obese cost more to the NHS than smokers. Smokers pay a huge amount of tax on fags which more than covers the cost of any cancer treatment they need later on in life. But the cost of treating type 2 diabetes (which is largely caused by obesity) makes up more than 10 per cent of the NHS budget and is only set to rise. Not sure what the answer is - tax on fatty, sugary food? Not sure this would work.

Compulsory euthanasia for anyone with a BMI of over...........

Or for the do-gooders the higher your BMI the smaller your benefit cheque or the higher your income tax rate

I am surprised by how much a gastric band costs...

In some parts of the world they put collars on Cormorants so that they can catch fish for their owners, the collars stop them from eating the catch!

Surely this idea could be developed to provide a cost effective alternative to expensive surgery?

Like a noose ?

Is this another thread about fat people?

18/07/2014 at 18:04

My BMI is high because I do have big bones and a fair amount of muscle, but last week the hospital told me that there wasn't enough fat on me.

I shall put myself forward for euthanasia

Surely bariatric surgery is going to save the NHS money in the long run. If a person's health is suffering because of obesity and surgery is going to get them well instead of going down the road of becoming diabetic, disabled and dependent on carers and half a dozen types of medication it's a no brainer.

People who run too many junk miles should be denied painkillers and chiropodY.

In a similar vein, should people who train when injured should be refused physios and scans?
