Red wine, champagne, whisky, port, local bottled beers.

Brandy and coke always reminds me of Christmas because I used to drink my mum's when I was little

I start Christmas day with a bowl of porridge and Jameson's stirred into it.

It's a form of endurance training, start as you mean to go on - or until you can't stand...

Not drinking during the day of Christmas.. had a little too much pre-dinner last year and spilt gravy all over Mother-in-Law's cooker "trying to help"!!, so driving this year ... will catch up in the evening    Oh, and hubby and I were talking about Christmas drinks the other day and have bought some advocat and lemonade to make our own snowballs

Champers Xmas Day, topped off with Bombay Saphirre Gin, Schweppes Slimline Tonic and a wedge of lime.

Generally, real ale finished with Australian Shiraz, French Cotes-du-Rhone or if treating myself a nice bottle of sancerre.

Gin, gin and more gin served with Feverfew tonic water, slice of lime and ice.

10-year old Macallan for a nightcap.
