Job title inflation

I quite like " Group TSR Undertakings UKB Migrations Roadmap Lead."

bloody daft eh JB. "Person Centred" seems to be badied about willy nilly these days. Many do have a very funny take on what it means  too. Many places claim to be pc(lol) but in practice are far from it. I could have described my last job as a person-centred transition facilitator I guess. What I di was simply help people find an angle to dealing with problems in a more constructive way

I only skimmed the article, but I've come across a couple of good ones at work:  'change-agent' and 'lean sigma black belt'
26/02/2010 at 22:38
What do they do then?

another good one .... domestic engineer = house wife

A change agent once spent half an hour explaining to me what he did and i was still none the wiser!  The lean sigma black belts essentially try to get you to do your work much faster thatn you already do it

Its a bit of a strange job title though innit?  It sounds a bit like they'd throw you on a mat or summat.

I used to train 'Change Agents' - or 'Personnel Future Proofing Facilitators' to give them their proper moniker...

One of my courses - truly boring stuff... but it kept me in beer vouchers for a couple of years.

My job title?

Part of my job is linguistic interface facilitation, ie translation.

Which reminds me, I need to pay the vision enhancement technician, aka the window cleaner.

"Change management" is a term I have always hated. Where I work it means that everything changes ... except the management.

I sit around and watch foreign telly all day, LB. I'm supposed to understand some of it.

(But seriously - it's an outfit that scans the foreign media for info that could be of use to government and commercial customers ... what other countries, mostly not friendly ones, are saying and doing)

I'm a senior business consultant for the global consulting team.

Muttley - just been reading about your 'Dear Leader' Mark Thompson's decision to sack half the staff of the Beeb online...  As it is arguably the best website on the net - WTF is he doing?

AND - dump Radio 6 music... the only station I bloody listen to when driving and the most innovative thing you lot do?
