I love those guys in the 60s that had a lion in London.  Perhaps not the best flat mate when you are low on food!

One of my daughters had lizards and tarantulas, the worst part of them was the live cockroaches we had to have in the house to feed them

I should say the cockroaches were in a tank not just running round the kitchen

I have seen similar, when I was in the forces on exercise in Germany, had to go in a building that had a snack bar in it, at night just with torches, the counters were alive with hundreds of them.  Strangely never had a roll and cup of tea there ever again

Rhinoceroses.  Hippos are not a good idea, either.

If you could train your Giraffe to stand still it could live under the loft hatch or in a wide stairwell, then you could feed it on the landing

Any we've ever had!!  We've never had a normal pet!  They've all been bonkers!! (Maybe it's us!)

If you had one you'd have all the world's media camped in your front garden....

JF50 - that was Christian the lion.  Have a search on UTube and you'll come up with a great clip of the guys going back to visit him once he'd been released with the Born Free Foundation in Africa.

Anything that drops fur scratches at curtains and sofas and wonders around as if they own the place, sorry KK I know you are lovely but I wouldn't want you or any of your furry friends as a pet .
