i'm new to running and have some lovely new running shorts but i'm confused? does the white underpant part go on the inside or the outside?

Cake has it correct - shorts are worn on the head (although possibly not as a way on attracting the ladies... not unless you're not choosy about the quality of the lady attracted

Running shorts are like a banana. You have to peel the white underpant bit out and only wear that.
