Maybe UFO just understands why they run and not why other people run. We're all different.

Why do I run? Depends on what I'm thinking when I put on my shoes. Every run has a different purpose. From going out and seeing stuff to seeing if I can break myself.

I haven't read the book. I was put off it because his achievements didn't seem that impressive for someone who runs.
