Nattynoodle - applying some dubious logic to the Excel results I have conclusively proved that I was the 2648th runner to cross the start line. I crossed the Finish line in 1152nd place, so I overtook 1496 people. I suppose that means I could have started nearer the front. Perhaps I should have arrived on time & given myself the choice.

Yes it certainly would have been better for you if you had arrived on time, we got there for just before 10am, and there was at least one forumite that was already there before us. It was surprising how quickly the 3 hours went!

You are right of course, you should have been way way further up nearer to the start line!

My chip position/time = 2921/2:06:03 - well pleased with that as I was aiming for sub-2:15 but didn't think I'd get below 2:10 in my first HM!

When's Salisbury? Would be interested in running that one with other forumites if the date is right.....

Where is Warminster, sounds a long way away from me in Suffolk, I may have a GCSE in Geography but that doesnt mean anything!!

Sorry i have had a busy week - seems lots of my clients wanted to see the hills I was talking about so have done lots of training runs to the park from our club in Ascot.
My chip position was 2258 ?? is that good???
Did anyone elses create a nice hole just above the ankle!!

I did have my thorlos on but the band thing felt more comfortable on the skin - well at the beginning anyway. But you need to have some war wounds to show off!
im well chuffed with myself - I thought I would browse the Windsor site and check out my old results 1999 First ever half 2.17.52
2000 2.13.39 missed 2001 good holiday opportunity in LA
and 2002 1.58.41 - all my training has paid off. well done Me xx

I am really hoping to run a 4.15 london next year, trouble is most of my long runs are done with clients at 10-11 minute miles.
i ran Windsor at 9 minute miles and my quads still haven't forgiven me.
Guess im gonna have to make them go faster

Don't know if I count as I ran under a Westbury Harriers vest but here goes anyway!

Gun time 1:53:31 pos 1408
Chip time 1:51:28 pos 1513

Found it a really difficult run having done a PB at Bristol the week before (1:43:19) on a much flatter course (and less heat)
