They are being stopped round here Squeaz. The bizzies have no robbers to catch today as they're all tucked up in their beds so they're out stopping people who have made fecking PEEPHOLES in their windscreens to drive.

I think 3 points and a £60 fine is letting them off lightly.

Ha ha - were too busy taking reports from prople who have been hit by snowballs and believe it i was a deliberate attack and they have been assaulted, to stop the idiots on the road.

You can't run away from the coppers round here though. It's too slippy.

And really quite funny that they're building an ice rink a mile down the road....

There was one div on the news the other night with about 8 inshes of snow on the top of his Land Rover.  It looked like a party hat.  Probably thought he was fine as his whole windscreen was clear.  Would have been fun to watch if he braked hard.

Some real idiots on the road, however I think just dishing out fines and points is a bit OTT.  Surely pulling people over, having a firm word and insisting they sort out their cars there and then is better?

Its funny how the cliched  WW2 "Everyone mucks in when things get tough" sometimes comes true.

I've been trying to drive around Tyneside through the cold snap and getting stuck at least twice a day. The side roads here are like roads in Cyprus, a single lane down the middle. If you move off the racing line you're suck in about 18" of soft snow and ice. However I have been genuinely impressed by the number of good samaritans, complete strangers, who pop up from nowhere to help dig me out. Have you ever thought how the postvan gets around, I was rescued last night by a friendy postie with a sack of grit and salt, otherwise I would probably still be there

When is a road not a road?.......................when it's a canal!
