got all my stuff at the weekend too including the incredibly hi-tech bar code/sealable plastic bag!!

Did anyone else get the biggest safety pins in the world?

My guess is that the extended slalom is intended to string the field out a bit, and with the wider behemoth, should make things quicker here. Will it pass the bottleneck on elsewhere though?

Mr Pink,
did you go knee deep in any ol badger hole or one on this course? I thought the course was closed 99% of the year....?

Sh*t, I hate the slalom! I've been recommended skipping to build the calves up for this. Which is also really difficult for some reason :O(

It doesn't matter how large the safety pins are, TC will still finish without his number!!

lol....so true...always happens!

yeh - amazing safety pins.........can just see them being dragged off at the first crawl..........

waht is Mousa on?? (no need to answer that btw - we all know it's some form of loopy juice)

think I might stich my number on instead to stop those pins bruising my sensitive chest..... ;-))

So you are coming FB??

Of course he is.....who could resist a double portion of killer slalom?

Oh how I shall laugh watching you all!!

kk - will all depend on how I feel when I get back from France.....making no promises

Forgot to mention, I'm one of the mentalists who build the course, and i'm mostly responsible for the slaloms (sorry) i just love it when people are bitchin and there lungs are about to burst and i say as i stagger past " i did this bit" and next week i should be puttin down the ghurka netting, nice and tight to the ground.......... As for run numbers i always sew mine on, don't fancy one of those pins coming loose on a crawl!! who knows where it could end up!! All the stuff you get through the post is to make you believe that Mousa is a little eccentric........ HE AINT he's madder than a box of frogs (even a shaken box)in a nice way.

I am joining Anna on the laughing bench ..... cant risk any injuries at the mo and if I am worried then I am bound to fall off/over/under something!!

"make you believe that Mousa is a little eccentric........ HE AINT he's madder than a box of frogs (even a shaken box)"

I think most of us had already come to that conclusion...... ;O))

btw - when you put the ghurka netting down, could you leave the woody bits out please?? played havoc with my legs last year...........

Mr Pink,

I have a friend who knows mouse very well partic back in the old days when mouse used to run a topless hairdressers. still cracks me up!

re: ghurka netting. are these the trenches before you get to the main obstacles - they get deeper with water as you go?
If so, any tips on getting under those damn nets? Damn annoying!

Topless hairdressers..... mmmmm....

Cross selling, always a good marketing ploy..
10/01/2006 at 18:11
i don't think there is a best way through the ghurka, just head down shoulders high and go for it

or failing that follow someone who looks to have a good style
10/01/2006 at 18:12
backwards was a good bet last year...but "drafting" someone else also worked.

can't comment on the marshalling, " i know nowt about it"
