Can i ask a serious question?

Is it wrong to put cheese out as bait ?

For what? Sperm? Doubt you'd catch many.

I dunno, have you never heard of smegma?

Ha! Smeghead...one of my favourite schoolyard putdowns!

Or chat up lines?

Well it was in the Welsh Valleys, and I wasn't Welsh. But I soon learnt to smoke and drink by the age of 12, and that many of the scary girls were overweight by the age of 14 and I could dodge and run quickly

So did anyone lure you with the promise of a "smeg head"?

Na, they weren't that cultured.

Ah, preferred the term 'cheesy cock' then?

I still have cheese, lots of it but a bit less than yesterday.

Cheese doesn't go off. You just cut off the mouldy bits when they develop.

(How has my husband got on the forum?)

If it's brie or something and it's only white mould you just eat it.

Agree with Literatin

Does the cheese mature more the longer you leave it... I'm imagining a nuclear cheese core now after we take a year to get through this lot. It will have learnt how to procreate by then maybe, which just prolongs the problem.

Ok, we've made a pact to keep eating the cheese and cutting off the mould until someone dies. He's made it a friggin challenge now, I can't back down.

A cheese eating challenge, you say?

Let me at it.

I'm going to melt it and swim in it.

No, that was a lie.

I have a piece of stilton that's been in the fridge for 6 months.  It is still perfectly edible.  I'm tempted to keep it longer as a(n) (anti)social experiment, but I can't leave it alone...

We have a fridge in the garage as well as the house. I am willing to co-experiment with you with the cheese in the garage.

Stilton last 6 months ? It's lucky to last 6 hours in this house
