I was running the Loch Ness 10k today weather was great numbers was amazing 3,200 people running. The route is pretty flat with the odd hill if you call them hills. It a PB for anyone looking for 40mins or sub 40.
I hadn't run all week due to a hamstring issue but physio said it'd be good to go, i was really surprised at 5k i was bang on 20mins which destroyed my 5k time by 2mins but then around 4-5 miles my hamstring tightened up which eventually slowed my pace.
Ended up with 44:34 really unhappy as im sure fully fit i'd of smashed my PB of 43 mins.
Inverness its self is a nice area friendly people cheering you on check it out for next year.
