My first ever half marathon, only my 3rd ever race, wanted to break 2hours................ran 2 hours, 0 mins and 45 seconds......am proper gutted!!

Really enjoyed this event, which was my first Half.

Very well organised. Very friendly spectators and volunteers and the weather was kind to us.

Great job to all concerned.

I did this race last year and the wind was shocking (not mine!). I take it the weather was kinder this year?

Kevin - in no way could you have described the wind as shocking. I think that we were very lucky.

Last year I was doing 5.40's in one direction the 6.40's the other way!
