luck forward to seeing you at worksop mick im going for a sub 2 so if im anywere near you will give you a shout and plod along for a while depending on how my legs feel ( the hills cant be as bad as mansfield )

This is my PB course so yes it's definitely possible to PB here. I think having it in the end of October helps weather wise and I don't remember any major hills. The first 2 miles are up but the last 2 are down as it's the same road.

It's a nice race that I'm looking forward to doing again this year.

Like you say, the first couple of miles are uphill but after that it's not so bad, I'm really looking forward to it, apparently I'm number 161 according to the web site, doesn't look like there's that many entered yet?

Hi, I ran this last year (it was only my second race) - it is described as gently undulating - it felt decidedly hilly to me. Great scenery and lovely atmosphere. Look at for the Llama farm at the entrance to Clumber park - bit sureal! Good luck to all - I'll be the one - same as last year - puffing and panting my way round in about 2.18. I'm always just happy to finish. Some of the hills seemed so steep that they made me laugh.
