A Nice 5k Race. Who is up for this?

I did this as my 1st ever race last Sunday and really enjoyed. So much so I'll be back for this one on the 5th March.

A lovely little park in the inner city, and three laps. It was well organised and friendly... I could see this being a regular for me.

Anyone else doing it?

I'll be doing this one, never done it before as I've always been doing other races and stuff, however, going to get in this one... hoping for around 18 minutes or so... we'll see...

Are the results up for last Sunday's race? Let me check...

I have seen the results ... mine are there... my first ever... I now have a Pb!!!

PS: A little birdy told me that there may only be another one or two of these and the race will slip into the great race track in the sky!! :( Has anybody heard the same from our featherd friends?

??? I hadn't deard anything, shame if they do, as they get decently busy, plus 5k's are short on supply... think I'll ask someone when I do next months...

You guys who have run at AP, Can you tell me what the parking is like?

A friend of mine was a bit dubious ! A past incident in moss Side meant no car on return,

Parking for me one my one race there was fine. I made sure nothing was left on show. You can park quite close to the registation hut if you are early (I think), and you may be able to see your car on each lap you do.

I've never ventured into the area before so it was my first visit... it seemed ok.

Better get in this one... as it may be the last :-(

I've got three weekends of races, this one, then a week later Stafford 20 miler then Wilmslow... then no races until Paris!

Hoping for around 17:55 in this next month... we'll see!

wow sounds good to me, Im just a begiiner, this is only ,my 3rd 5k
I think im a wimp, i love the 5K ,would consider a 10K , but would not enjoy any further than that, Do i not qualify to be a runner lol, i do love it, its just any longer than that....I get bored !

I also did this run for the first time last month and I'm definately doing it this Sunday. I hope it's not too cold but it looks as if it will be sunny at least.

I liked it so much last time that I'm dragging my girlfriend and a couple of friends down to compete in it this time.

I'm going to try and beat 21:30, fingers crossed.
