I will tell my mum as it was her idea many many years ago!
We learned a lot from the first race last year (more drinks stations, finish in cricket club etc) but still mad panic in few days up to the race to make it look like we are organised! we raised over £500 for Tewkesbury Hospital from the race which was good!
I like the description of quirky for the route - went around a few local races drumming up support and cross country seems to be a dirty word nowadays!
Seventh is still seriously good running - my aim is to beat an hour next year (if train really hard could get under 50 minutes - built for cricket and golf not for running!)
