A run in the woods...
whats the course limit for this?
How are the entries going for this Dr Rob?
250 runners maximum... 222 registered by just now - so it will probably fill up in the next few days as runners come back from holidays and get their fingers out!
Sorry, 10k and fun run both now full up. No entries on the day... please come back next year!
I'm so disappointed i didn't organise my entry in time! If anyone has entered but can no longer make it on the day, please let me know!
Also after a last minute spare *gets in line after Becky*
Early on race day - nothing happening weatherwise at the moment, but it is set to chuck it down. Ach well. See you at the race all the same!
Just arrived home having done this for the first time. Thank you to all the people who organised this. Despite the rain it was great run, and lots of support from the friendly marshals. Definitely doing this next year.
Yep, a brilliant run. I'll definitely be signing up for next year!
Enjoyed this race again, third time this year, and the worst weather yet, but the encouragement and cheers of the marshalls made up for it! I'll be back....
Photos, video and preliminary results now up (quite a few times apparently not recorded - seemingly due to numbers being obscured).
Thanks to everyone who turned out and still enjoyed the race, despite (because of?) the weather! Huge thanks to all the marshals and helpers!
Had a great run, really enjoyed it and was happy with my time (just wanted to be under hour).....but....the time on the web page is giving me a minute slower than my Garmin (which registered 6.22 mile run). I didn't hear the starter (was at the back) but did press start as soon as I saw people ahead moving. A bit confused ....
great event again. thanks vm to Rob and especially to the fabulous marshals
The timings are 'gun' to finish.... the order is right.... please email me...
Don't suppose anyone (or more likely their friends and families) found a Garmin eTrex GPS in the long grass? I think the screw that held the clip to attach it to my bike was loose and it just came off on the bumpy downhill towards the end.
The reward is a professional-standard photo of you on the final straight if you were reasonably near the front (sub 50 minutes unless you were Steve Winder who's just too bloody fast or felll into one of the changing-memory-card/yuk-the-rain-has-got-worse/the-girl-running-beside-you-was-much-prettier//whatever categories.)
Steve, your GPS has been found by a local dog-walker who has tracked me down and left his mobile No. with me - call me for his number.
